Several NASCAR Drivers in the Snowball Derby Today at 5 Flags Speedway

It has been an eventful week of racing at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Flordia, for the 53rd running of the Snowball Derby.

Some big crashes and hot tempers have already made this race weekend one for the record books. Fifty-six drivers had entered the Super Late Model division of the Snowball Derby, 37 of them qualifying for the race.

NASCAR Cup Series drivers Erik Jones and Ryan Preece made the race starting 5th and 12th on Sunday.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Derek Griffith, Carson Hocevar, Derek Kraus, Chandler Smith, Grant Enfinger, and defending Snowball Derby Champion Ty Majeski have entered the race. All drivers have advanced to the feature on Sunday.

ARCA Series drivers Daniel Dye and Corey Heim will start 11th and 4th in the Snowball Derby feature. ARCA East and ARCA West Champions Sammy Smith and Jesse Love will start in the top 20.

Former NASCAR drivers Mason Diaz, Casey Roderick, and Rich Bickle will make the feature.

Bickle will make his final racing start at age 60, starting last in the Snowball Derby. The veteran racer has competed in several forms of racing over his career, including 85 NASCAR Cup Series starts and three NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victories in 1997.

In the Allen Turner Pro Late Models, several NASCAR drivers competed in the Snowflake 100 on Friday night including, Noah Gragson, Derek Griffith, and Johanna Long. Derek Thorn was the Champion of the Snowflake 100.

Former Cup Series driver Chad Chaffin finished 25th in the Outlaw Late Model Series Friday night, and former Xfinity Series driver Casey Roderick finished 24th in the Pro Truck division.
