The post came following NASCAR’s announcement earlier in the day about the ban of Confederate Flags at race tracks.
CMI Motorsports started in 2017 in the ARCA Menards Series and transitioned to the Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series for 2019. The team currently races the No. 49 and No. 83 with several different drivers.
No announcement of the closure has been made on the race team’s website or social media accounts.
