NASCAR today announced the final installment of events in the revised 2020 schedule, including the full Playoffs schedule for all three national series.

NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway announced Thursday a new twist to the storied, high-banked tri-oval/infield road course with the addition of a chicane at the exit of the NASCAR turn four that will provide competitors with yet another passing zone.

Restarting from seventh place in the second overtime attempt, Jones charged forward and wrested the lead from Cindric, who was less than one lap away from tying Sam Ard’s NASCAR Xfinity Series record of four straight victories, a feat Ard accomplished in 1983.

Andy Suess announced on Wednesday morning that he has separated with his former team, Our Motorsports, after a five year run as both driver and General Manager of Our Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

"Following discussions with our race teams and the broader industry, NASCAR will continue to conduct its race weekends without practice and qualifying for the remainder of the 2020 season in all three national series. The current format has worked well in addressing several challenges during our return to racing. Most importantly, we have seen competitive racing week-to-week. NASCAR will adjust the starting lineup draw procedure for the Playoff races, and will announce the new process at a later date."

According to people familiar with the Xfinity Series prize money, since NASCAR expanded the field size to 40 cars, some teams who finish towards the back are only getting $4500 per race.

In a brochure mailed to season ticket holders at Phoniex Raceway, the list of 2021 race dates show that NASCAR will return to the one-mile race track in a similar-looking schedule as 2020.

Austin Cindric collected his third consecutive NASCAR Xfinity Series win Saturday afternoon at Texas Motor Speedway after Kyle Busch’s No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota failed post-race inspection – the left rear on his car ruled too low.

Tony Clements, head of the family-owned No. 51 Jeremy Clements Racing team, was fined $10,000 for his actions last weekend. NASCAR’s penalty report noted that the elder Clements was cited for "non-compliance with essential personnel/team event roster rules."

According to several reliable sources in the garage following the race at Kentucky Speedway, there was some speculation where we might be racing next weekend.
