The reigning ARCA Menards Series East champion dominated the Star Nursery 150 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, earning his second consecutive win to kick off the season.
In his first race as defending ARCA Menards Series East champion, Sam Mayer used a late pass on Ty Gibbs to win the Skip’s Western Outfitters 175 at New Smyrna Speedway.
In the 2020 season opener, he made sure to put the field on notice, dominating from the pole to win the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire for the second time in the last three years.

Rette Jones Racing (RJR) announced today that siblings Dominique and Tristan Van Wieringen will double down and compete in ARCA Menards Series competition beginning with Saturday afternoon’s Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire.
Natalie Decker has added an additional race to her schedule, teaming with Ken Schrader Racing, and FURY Race Cars to wheel the No. 52 machine in the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire at Daytona International Speedway for the ARCA season opener.
It is also being reported that the two teams will operate at the location alongside Win-Tron Racing who competes in the ARCA Menards Series.
Mullins and the No. 3 Crow Wing Recycling Ford team will open the ARCA Menards Series season on Saturday, Feb. 8 by competing in the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire at Daytona International Speedway.
The new drivers for the series that are on the entry list include: Chuck Buchanan Jr., David Gravel, Dominique Van Wieringen, Jacob Heafner, Jason Kitzmiller, and Ryan Huff.
Bret Holmes Racing (BHR) announced today they will field a part-time entry in the ARCA Menards Series for the 2020 season with driver Bret Holmes.
