The visit is part of an ongoing campaign by NASCAR driver Forrister, who showed up to Charlotte Motor Speedway three weeks ago with signage on his truck to support America’s nursing homes. The #7 All Out Motorsports Toyota was branded with #NursingHomeCareGivers on the side and a large “Thank You” sign on the back. Forrister is continuing this campaign in partnership with the Florida Health Care Association and the American Health Care Association this Saturday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Homestead Speedway for the Baptist Health 200 Race.

Florida Health Care Association Executive Director Emmett Reed said “We are thrilled to partner with Korbin and to show our support to the dedicated nursing home caregivers who are working tirelessly across Florida and the nation to keep their residents safe from COVID-19.  These caregivers are putting themselves at risk every day they come to work and are making heroic efforts to protect their residents. Too often they are overlooked, and we felt it important to spread the message of support for these selfless individuals; they truly are our nursing home heroes.”

Florida is home to nearly 700 nursing homes and almost 140,000 caregivers working to deliver quality care and quality of life to over 65,000 residents. Along with FHCA and AHCA, Korbin’s #NursingHomeCareGivers campaign honored the frontline nursing home caregivers of the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association and the Georgia Health Care Association and is supported by PruittHealth, CareServ, and Assured Partners,
