NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver, Stewart Friesen will test the Next-Gen race car at the half-mile high-banked clay oval that is Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat Virginia.
The test is scheduled to help determine a Goodyear tire for the Bristol dirt race in April of 2022.
Friesen, a veteran dirt racer made his NASCAR Cup Series debut at Bristol in March for Spire Motorsports where he finished 23rd.
