According to Adam Stern from the Sports Business Journal, the race weekend at Watkins Glen International Speedway is in doubt due to COVID-19.
NASCAR has requested the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo to sign a waiver to allow the vent to happen but has yet to be granted.
Currently, anyone entering New York from select states is asked to quarantine for 14 days after arriving in the state.
