This will be Gragson's first attempt into the NASCAR Cup Series, who will have to make the race either on time during qualifying or his finishing position in the Daytona Duel.
Reports from Catchfence.com have Noah Gragson going into the No. 62 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1-1LE for Beard Motorsports for the 63rd running of the Daytona 500 Sunday, February 14th.
This will be Gragson’s first attempt into the NASCAR Cup Series, who will have to make the race either on time during qualifying or his finishing position in the Daytona Duel.
Gragson will return to Jr. Motorsports full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2021 season.
Beard Motorsports was expected to close following the 2020 season as a former team driver, Brendan Gaughan, stated the team was not to create racecars once the new race car comes. With the new Next-Gen car coming in 2022, it looks like this team will return in 2021.
The team usually races the four Superspeedway races and select road-course races every year. No word which races this team could compete in for 2021.
