No.12 Rear Tire Changer Injured in Indy Pit Road Crash

A crash on pit road early in the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway injured the rear tire changer, Zach Price from the No. 12 Team Penske Racing Ford Mustang.

The collision on pit road involved several drivers, including Brennan Poole, who was the driver that sideswiped the No. 12, avoiding the wrecked race car of Justin Allgaier.

After the collision, Price was able to crawl to safety.

Price gave a smile and a thumbs up while being loaded into the ambulance on his way to the local hospital.

It was later reported that Price has fractured his left knee area from the accident.
