Today, the National Football League announced that the league would move to a regular 17 game season for the 2021-2022 season.
With the regular season adjustment, Super Bowl LVI will take place on Sunday, February 13th, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Daytona Speedweek is expected to start the following week, opening with The Busch Clash on February 16th, 2022, and moving the Daytona 500 back one week to February 20th, 2022.
No official word from Daytona International Speedway or NASCAR on when the race will take place. You can currently purchase tickets for the Great American Race with a to-be-determined race date.
