The Eldora Dirt Derby, Watkins Glen International, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will all lose their race dates due to COVID-19.
NASCAR’s announcement today left a void of many favorite race tracks that was initially planned on the racing schedule in 2020.
The Eldora Dirt Derby, Watkins Glen International, Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will all lose their race dates due to COVID-19.
Additionally, the ARCA Series race at Elko Speedway in Minnesota is not expected to race in 2020 but has not been officially announced.
NASCAR has worked with local government officials from where these tracks are located, and NASCAR was not able to have waivers to either be ready to race at the track or allowed to have fans in attendance.
