Leavine Family Racing Closing its Doors Following 2020 Season

Leavine Family Racing has announced on social media that they will close the doors of the No. 95 shop following the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Leavine Family Racing has announced on social media that they will close the doors of the No. 95 shop following the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Leavine Family Racing has had over 200 starts in the NASCAR Cup Series since its inception in 2011. The team raced on a part-time basis before the start of the 2017 season.

Several drivers have driven in the No. 95 and, on occasion, the No. 59, including drivers David Starr, Scott Speed, Scott Riggs, Reed Sorenson, Blake Koch, Michael McDowell, Ty Dillon, Kasey Khane, Regan Smith, Matt DiBenedetto, and current driver Christopher Bell.

Their accomplishments to date show six top 5 finishes, and nineteen top 10 finishes.

There have been rumors that the team will be looking for a buyer, but no announcement who that team could be.

The current driver of the No. 95, Christopher Bell is expected to race the No. 20 in 2021, replacing driver Erik Jones.
