During a sales presentation on Twitter Spaces Monday night, JJ Yeley was a guest on behalf of HEX Cryptocurrency to talk about his plans to run the Daytona 500 next month with HEX as his primary sponsor.

“I am ready to get back to the track; this will be great,” Yeley said to the over 50 visitors listening in on the presentation.

A HEX Cryptocurrency spokesperson announced on Twitter that it would cost $600,000 for this sponsorship to be on the race car and for Yeley to be the driver.

“We have 550 thousand dollars committed so far, so I think we will be able to reach that goal and go racing in the biggest race of the year,” said the HEX Cryptocurrency spokesperson.

It was not mentioned which team or car number Yeley could race at the Daytona 500, but all signs point to the NY Racing Team, where he competed in several races in 2014 and 2018.

It was announced this past week the NY Racing Team has a NextGen car and is expected to race in the Daytona 500.
