MBM Motorsports annoucned on Facebook early Saturday morning that the team signed driver JJ Yeley to a full-time effort in the No. 66 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2022 season.
MBM Motorsports annoucned on Facebook early Saturday morning that the team signed driver JJ Yeley to a full-time effort in the No. 66 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2022 season.
“We have been in such a rush to prepare Cup and Xfinity cars, I did not take the time to post that the week before Daytona, MBM made a deal to put JJ Yeley in our 66 car all year!” Carl Long, owner of MBM Motorsports posted on Facebook.
“We are happy with the way our Xfinity program is developing. We are making improvements each week. We are focusing on making the 66 the best we can while having fun and enjoying what we do with the 13.”
Long also mentioned the return of the No. 13 that will race part-time with various drivers including Chad Finchum, Timmy Hill, Stan Mullis, and Carl Long himself.
Yeley has had a strong start with the team in 2022 thus far, with a 13th place finish at Daytona, 22nd at Auto Club, and 20th at Las Vegas. The team had an average finish of 34th in 2021 with various drivers.
