NASCAR Cup Series driver, Matt DiBenedetto will practice an Xfinity Series race car at Indianapolis Motor Speedway today to determine the possible road course layout when the NASCAR Xfinity Series races at the track on Saturday, July 4th.
Roger Penske announced the Xfinity Series would race on the road course for the first time in 2020 at IMS, a move that will hopefully bring more fans to the race track to see different types of racing over the fourth of July weekend.
The official road course design for the race is expected to be announced within the coming weeks.
