David Starr announced on his Twitter that he will depart from the NASCAR Xfinity Series team, JD Motorsports immediately.

Starr went on to say “The affects of COVID-19 are wide reaching and because of that, understandably, most of our current partners’ advertising dollars are limited.”

Starr’s long time sponsor that he has raced with several different teams, Whataburger had to pull sponsorship due to the loss of income.
