The US Census Buero was to sponsor races at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series races in March of this year.

NASCAR today announced the next installment of races in its return to racing, featuring events at Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. The slate of races include events in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Series and the ARCA Menards Series.

The track annually host two races for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and one race each for the Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series, the ARCA Series, and NTT Indy Car Series.

For Xfinity Series and Gander Trucks races for which there is no qualifying scheduled to give teams the opportunity to earn their position in the starting lineup, the field size will be expanded to a maximum of 40 participants in each series to allow additional opportunities for teams to race.

NASCAR annoucned Tuesday that all three series will have pit stops as usual at Darlington Raceway and Charlotte Motor Speedway this month. here was some speculation that NASCAR would go away with pit stops at the race track once we return from our time off due to COVID-19, but that is not the case.

NASCAR announced Tuesday afternoon a new procedure for setting the field for the races at Darlington and Charlotte later this month.

NASCAR announced Friday afternoon three race tracks that will loose race dates in 2020 due to the COVID-19 disease. Sonoma Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway will both loose their one and only race date, Richmond International Raceway will loose their spring race date.

NASCAR announced Thursday an initial short-term schedule, beginning with a NASCAR Cup Series race May 17 at Darlington Raceway, to mark the return to the track for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic brought sports to a halt in the middle of March.

MBM Motorsports owner, Carl Long said once North Carolina issued its stay-at-home order on March 30th, he had no other option but to temporary close his doors.

JD Motorsports w/Gary Keller and multiple-race winning driver Mike Wallace are teaming up for the inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series road-course race scheduled on July 4 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
