Bassett Racing announced in an interview with Dustin Albino from Jayski.com that the team will compete in 15 to 18 races throughout the NASCAR Xfinity Series season starting at Daytona International Speedway next month.

Co-owner, Ronnie Bassett Jr. will be the driver at Daytona, the team will skip the races at Auto Club, Vegas, and Phoenix before returning at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March.

“We want to grow our team name and get my brother and I some seat time back in the Xfinity Series. It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve raced. We’re going to run selected races. If we’re not prepared for one that we want to go to, we’ll sit out. When we go, we’re going to be prepared.” Bassett told Dustin Albino.
