NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) driver Akinori Ogata will be returning this week to Reaume Brothers Racing, piloting the No. 33 Toyota Tundra for the Vankor 350 at Texas Motor Speedway on July 18th.
Ogata, who competed in his last NASCAR series race back in 2018 with MBM Motorsports in the Xfinity series, is looking to come out strong in his first appearance in 2020 in the Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series.
“I am excited to go back and race in the NASCAR truck series with the Reaume Brothers Racing. Kyowa Industrial, who is based out of Detroit Michigan, is a new partner of mine that is coming on board for our race at Texas Motor Speedway. Their business is deeply involved in the racing industry, so I am glad they are also now going to be involved in NASCAR. I am looking forward to driving the KYOWA Industrial Truck this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.,” said Ogata.
With over 20 starts to his name across K&N, ARCA and NGROTS – Akinori looks to continue his NASCAR journey at the one of the fastest tracks on the circuit.
“I am really excited to have Akinori come and race here at Reaume Brothers Racing,” said Owner/Driver Josh Reaume. “I’m looking forward to have him in the No. 33 at Texas, alongside Angela Ruch, who will be piloting the No. 00. It has been such a neat year for our team this year, arguably the most diverse team and driver line-ups in all three NASCAR Series. I’m looking forward to having Akinori join the RBR team and put a great race together for him and his new partner Kyowa!”
