UPDATE: Haley Returns; AJ Allmendinger Expected to Replace Haley in No. 11 Xfinity Ride for 2021

UPDATE 10-19-20: AJ Allmendinger fooled a lot of people (including us) as he announced the new driver of the No. 11 Chevrolet will be……Justin Haley returning for another full season with the team.

Allmendinger could possibly still race for the team full time in 2021 in the No. 10 vacated by Ross Chastain.

ORIGINAL 10-18-20: Kaulig Racing has continued to tease a potential announcement that the team will drop this coming Monday.

Posted on Sunday evening, a video preview to the announcement showed a montage of the current part-time driver for Kaulig Racing, AJ Allmedninger, and the teams No. 11 Chevrolet.

Kaulig Racing who is in their fifth full season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series currently enters two full-time teams and one part-time team.

Ross Chastain current driver for the teams No. 10 entry will be promoted to the Cup Series replacing Matt Kenseth in the No.42 Chip Ganassi Racing ride for 2021.

Justin Haley, current driver of the No. 11 has been rumored to moving full time in the NASCAR Cup Series with Spire Motorsports next season.

Allmendinger who races part-time for Kaulig Racing this season already has two victories at Atlanta and the Charlotte ROVAL.

Allmendinger has mentioned in recent weeks that he would be interested in a full-time ride with the team in 2021.
