Zane Smith Disqualified From Second Place Finish Following Lug-Nut Issues at Vegas

Following the post-race inspection, Truck Series driver, Zane Smith was disqualified for a “Lug-nut issues” as it did not conform to the NASCAR rule specifications per the following rule(s): 14.16.1 – 1-4 Lug Nuts.

Zane was passed on the last lap by race winner Chandler Smith as Zane Smith went on to finish second in the race.

With the infraction, Zane Smith will not earn any points from the race or the two stages during the length. The Camping World Truck Series Daytona winner will now fall from first in points to twelfth.
