Robby Lyons Joins MBM Motorsports in 2021

Robby Lyons will once again return to the high banks of Daytona International Speedway for the season opener for the NASCAR Xfinity Series on February 13th, 2021. Lyons will pilot the no. 61 Toyota Supra fielded by Motorsports Business Management (MBM) / HRE, with sponsorship from Carr and Sons Masonry. Carr and Sons Masonry Inc, based out of Pinellas Park, Florida, is a premier structural concrete company serving the suncoast area for over forty years.

Lyons had this to say regarding the new partnership with MBM for the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity season opener: “I couldn’t be more excited and humbled with the opportunity to race the season opener at Daytona for the 4th consecutive season and for the 2nd time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Partnering up with Carl (Long) and MBM is a relationship I hope to extend far into the future and I’m equally excited to work with Timmy Hill as a teammate and draw on his years of experience behind the wheel of both Cup and Xfinity Series race cars. All of this wouldn’t be possible without the support of Carr and Sons Masonry, Shane Carr and all the folks that work with their company. I take pride in representing CSM on a race car at the World Center of Racing yet again, this time on the #61 Toyota Supra, and look forward to taking them to the front next Saturday.”

Carl Long replied, “Very excited to have Robby in our car and in the very capable hands of Crew Chef Patrick Magee. This is our primary Toyota entry for MBM/HRE at Daytona and we are looking to start off the season with a strong finish. When Robby visited us, everything went very smooth. He fit our car with minimal adjustments and seemed to have a natural chemistry with our crew chiefs and team members. If everything continues to go as well as it has so far, we look forward to adding more races with Robby.”

Shane Carr, Chief Executive Officer of Carr and Sons Masonry Inc, had this to say about the upcoming partnership:
