According to an anonymous source from people familiar with Road America, the historic race track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is expected to host its first NASCAR Cup Series race this summer.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled on Thursday to lift the Stay-at-Home order set by Governor, Tony Evers.
The ruling lifted all restrictions on business, and events happening in the State of Wisconsin.
Local race tracks throughout Wisconsin were packed over the weekend with race fans following the ruling on Thursday.
If NASCAR chooses to, they could race at the track with a full capacity of fans according to the Wisconsin Supreme Court; however, NASCAR will most likely continue to practice their COVID-19 procedures.
If the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series can not travel to Canada this summer for the race at Canadian Motorsports Park, it’s also rumored that the Truck Series might also race at Road America.
