NASCAR Race at Martinsville Excepted to be Rescheduled

All NASCAR fans are counting down the days until the race cars can once again hit the race track. Racing was scheduled to resume on May 9th at Martinsville Speedway next month; however, it now looks like this race might get postponed as well.

This past week Virginia Governor, Ralph Northam issued a stay at home order through mid-June. As part of the stay at home order, all public and private in-person gatherings of more than ten individuals are prohibited.

In a NASCAR statement: “NASCAR is aware of the stay-at-home order issued for Virginia. We will continue discussions with public health officials and medical experts as we assess rescheduling options.”
