NASCAR Issues Hailie Deegan to Sensitivity Training Prior to 2021 Season

NASCAR driver, Hailie Deegan has been issued sensitivity training prior to the 2021 season for her actions in an iRacing event on Sunday evening.

“This is fun,” Deegan said. Then after apparent contact from another driver, she added, “Oh, ay, who’s the (R-word) behind me? Don’t do that please.”

Following the event, Deegan took to Twitter to appologize.

Deegan is to race for her first time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season in 2021 for David Gilliland Racing. The race team has not made a statement at the time of publishing about the slur used in the iRacing event.
