UPDATE: Hendrick Motorsports Announces Full Sponsorship for Bowman in 2020
Alex Bowman will start his third full season with Hendrick Motorsports next month at Daytona International Speedway in his No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, however the classic Nationwide blue and white colors will not be on the hood for the season.
In June of 2019, Nationwide Insurance announced that the company will not return to Hendrick Motorsports as a sponsor for Alex Bowman’s No. 88 Chevrolet.
Additionally it was announced recently that Axalta will increase sponsorship on Hendrick Motorsports teammate, William Byron’s car for the 2020 season, and decrease the sponsorship to two races for the No. 88.
Valvoline, Cincinnati Inc, and Llumar Window Film have all been announced for 2 races each as a primary sponsor.
The team is still in search of sponsorship for about 30 – 32 races for the 2020 season which is to get underway in under three weeks.
There has not been any other rumored sponsors for this team yet for 2020.
