Hailie Deegan teased some new merchandise on social media on Monday that showed the Rookie of the Year contender will race the No. 1 Truck in the Camping World Truck Series for David Gilliland Racing in 2021.
Later in the evening, David Gilliland Racing released a statement saying the team will race the new No. 1 with Deegan as the driver. Deegan was originally expected to compete in the No. 17 truck.
Monster Energy will be the primary sponsor for the No. 1 with Hailie Deegan. In the NASCR Cup Series No. 1 driven by Kurt Busch also has Monster Energy as their primary sponsor.
