Drivers Organize Message About Social Justice Movement Prior to Atlanta Race

Before the start of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, NASCAR drivers planned and organized along with NASCAR a way to show acknowledgment towards the social justice movement following the recent death of George Floyd in Minnesota.

The race cars stopped on the front stretch for a moment of silence, a message from NASCAR president Steve Phelps, and finally, a video message that featured 26 NASCAR Cup Series drivers and NASCAR personal titled “I Will Listen & Learn.”
