Dale Jarrett announced on NBC’s Sports program “NASCAR America” Tuesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing minor symptoms from the disease.
“Yeah, wish I could be there with you.” As Dale sat from home communicating through video conferencing.
“Last week, I tested positive for the coronavirus. But I’m doing great. I’m one of the very fortunate ones that my symptom has only been a slight cough throughout all of this. And it’s getting less and less each day, and I’m doing very well.” Jarrett told the host, Krista Voda.
Jarrett confirmed he has not been close to any NASCAR personnel in recent days and has not been at any of the NASCAR races since racing resumed last month.
