Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) announced today that 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. will pilot the No. 51 Tundra March 27 in the Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

Christian Eckes will also be returning to ThorSport Racing for the 2022 season as he will be representing the AHI’s colors on his No. 98 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for the Feb. 18 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Daytona International Speedway.

NASCAR officials handed down L1-level penalties Friday to four teams in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series for technical violations discovered in opening-day inspection at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

In the closing laps of Tuesday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chase Elliott held off a determined charge from Kyle Busch in the closing laps to earn the victory and a $100,000 bounty offered to any full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver who could beat Busch.

“It’s hard to believe it’s already been 26 years,” Showalter told NASCAR.com Friday afternoon in the Gander Trucks garage. “There’s been days where I’ve thought that I’ve had enough, but then the family atmosphere that we have here, especially truck racing, is what has brought me back all the time.”

NASCAR Xfinity Series driver and Camping World Truck Series driver, Brett Moffitt announced he will return to the Truck Series full time in 2021 for Niece Motorsports.
