Marvin Smith, the 1978 and 1979 ARCA Menards Series driving champion, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Soin Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was 77.

As the 2021 season comes to an end, NASCAR prepares for a return to Nashville from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 to host its annual Champion’s Week celebration.

Voting for the ARCA Menards Series’ Reese’s Sweet Move of the Year award for 2021 is underway.

“Just needed to get to him. I knew I had to get one spot, and we got to him,” Love said of his passing Huddleston on the final lap. “I wasn’t sure what happened. I was going to get to him one way or another. I wasn’t going to spin him out. I was going to rattle his cage a little.”

ARCA Menards Series team owner Alex Clubb announced that he will form an ARCA Menards Series race team in 2022 with plans to compete for the entire season.

Seven drivers enter the 2021 ARCA Menards Series West season finale at Phoenix Raceway with chances to win the championship.

Thirty-six cars have entered the race, marking the most entries in the league since the K&N Pro Series race (before becoming ARCA West) at Iowa Speedway in 2015.

Mike Redfern, who fielded and maintained ARCA Menards Series cars for Bobby Jacks, earning four wins, seven pole qualifying awards, and six top-10 series point finishes from 1979-88, passed away on Oct. 26, 2021.

Dye joined GMS Racing midway through the 2021 season and found immediate success. Berlin Raceway was the site of Dye’s first career ARCA victory, with the No. 21 collecting four top-five finishes and one General Tire Pole Award.
