Michael Self has already proven he could conquer the superspeedway at Daytona International Speedway. Back in February, he won the season opener at "The World Center of Racing" for the second time.

Bill Kimmel Sr., a three-time winner in the ARCA Menards Series in the 1970s, father of series veterans and champions Bill and Frank Kimmel and grandfather of current drivers Will and Frankie Kimmel, passed away July 30 at his home of natural causes at the age of 91.

Three races across two series are scheduled for February to begin the 2021 ARCA Menards season. All three will take place in Florida.

Canadian-based ICON Direct will continue its support of the 29-year-old Balcaen and join her at Rette Jones Racing for the 20-race schedule from February through October.

Kelley replaces lap-by-lap race caller Bob Dillner, who had been part of the ARCA broadcasts on MAVTV since 2017. Dillner has stepped out of the booth to take an expanded role in the development of the motorsports network but will continue to work with the production team on the broadcasts.

Voting for the ARCA Menards Series’ Reese’s Sweet Move of the Year award for 2021 is underway.

Deegan only needs to roll off the starting grid Friday to clinch the rookie title. She then will look to improve upon her ninth-place finish at Kansas when the series visited the 1.5-mile oval earlier this season.

The ARCA Menards Series has finalized its 2021 schedule, which opens Saturday, Feb. 13 at Daytona International Speedway and concludes at Kansas Speedway in October.

The win marked VMS’ fifth consecutive ARCA Menards Series victory at Daytona. It was Heim’s eighth trip to Victory Lane in the ARCA Menards Series dating back to 2020.
