Brandonbilt Motorsports announced in an interview with frontstretch.com that the team will switch their car number in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for 2020 from #86 to #68.
Co-team owner, Brandon Brown will remain as the driver for the full season. The team is searching for additional drivers that come with funding to possibly field another team either full time or part time in 2020 under the #86 number.
“I’ll be fielding the 68 car full-time, leaving the 86 to the next driver, whoever wants to take over that primary car.” said Brown.
“Personally, it’s really cool because the dream is to take the 68 all the way to Cup, but we’ll see.”
