ARCA Menards Series to Join NASCAR for Pocono’s Doubleheader Week

The ARCA Menards Series has been visiting Pocono Raceway since 1983 and has done so at least once a year since 1987. The streak will continue in 2021, when the series will run its 68th race at The Tricky Triangle.

The General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 is scheduled for Friday, June 25, at the 2.5-mile tri-oval in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. It will be part of Pocono’s NASCAR Doubleheader Week featuring five races in the span of three days.

The ARCA Menards Series race at Pocono will take the Friday spotlight. The Saturday, June 26 Pocono schedule features a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race and the first of two NASCAR Cup Series races. Sunday, June 27 will deliver the Pocono Green 225 Recycled by J.P. Mascaro & Sons NASCAR Xfinity Series race and the second NASCAR Cup Series race.

Ty Gibbs, the 18-year-old who led the ARCA Menards Series in wins and laps led last season despite running only 16 of the 20 races, dominated last year’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono for what was his third career win in the series.

Gibbs led 65 of the 80 laps on his way to the victory. He became the 28th consecutive different ARCA Menards winner at Pocono, a streak that dates back to 2006 and includes current NASCAR Cup Series drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Joey Logano, Ty Dillon, Chase Elliott and Cole Custer.

As for the 2021 race, multi-day ticket bundles are available for the 100, 200 and shaded 300-Levels of the Grandstand, as well as the Terrace Club, Club Pocono and Victory Circle Club sections. Fans are able to use this one-stop shop, without having to navigate multiple ticket pages, to select their Saturday and Sunday tickets.

A complimentary Friday general admission ticket will be automatically added to all multi-day ticket bundle orders. To purchase a multi-day ticket bundle, as well as other select tickets and camping options, visit www.poconoraceway.com/ticket or call 1-800-RACEWAY.

The complete ARCA Menards Series schedule for 2021 — as well as those for the ARCA Menards Series East and the ARCA Menards Series West — will be released in the near future.
